At St. Joseph’s we actively encourage our children to take part in a different range of sports. This enables the children to take part in teams, work as individuals and aim to reach their full potential through a variety of sporting and extended school activities.

We have had teams represent our school in a variety of sports, such as football, cross country, hockey and dance and the children have always made St. Joseph’s proud with their commitment and positive attitude to sport.

At St Joseph’s we have a group of dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Leaders. These children regularly work together to plan and deliver a variety of lunchtime sport and fitness opportunities and they work hard to instil the sporting ethos they chose as a group, the acronym LIGHT – Laugh, Inspire, Guige, Hope, Thrive.
