Dear Parents/Carers,
Just a quick new update this week. Once again the children have worked hard and the students of the week shone particularly brightly because of their R.E. work. DON’T FORGET THAT NEXT FRIDAY IS A PD DAY AND SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED TO PARENTS.
Hello Yellow Day
Thank you for your generosity towards this charity no school uniform day. I am delighted to inform you that the event raised £110.
Parent’s Evening: Monday and Tuesday 3.30-6.00pm (all classes except Year 3.)
We look forward to welcoming parents and carers to Parent’s Evenings next week. All appointments have been made and we will share how your child has settled into their relevant year group.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mr Scarlett will not be able to attend Parent’s Evenings and we will rearrange these sessions after the half-term break.
COVID 19- Please keep following the guidelines.
We do still have cases within the school and local community. Please let the school know ASAP if your child tests positive for COVID or if they have symptoms and you are waiting for a PCR Test result. If it is out of hours please email [email protected]
If a child has symptoms please make sure that you arrange for a PCR Test as soon as possible. If a child develops symptoms at school we will ask you to come and collect your child straightaway and arrange for a PCR Test. If the result of the PCR test is negative then the child can return to school, unless they are too poorly to attend.
Individuals are not required to self-isolate if they live in the same household as someone with COVID-19, or are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, and any of the following apply:
- they are fully vaccinated
- they are below the age of 18 years and 6 months
- they have taken part in or are currently part of an approved COVID-19 vaccine trial
- they are not able to get vaccinated for medical reasons
Instead, NHS Test and Trace will inform affected individuals, children or their parents or carers that they have been in close contact with a positive case, and advise them to take a PCR test. We would encourage all individuals to take a PCR test if advised to do so.
For further clarification then please check the DFE website:
